Potassium Titanate

•  The titanates have outstanding properties such as high mechanical strength, thermal and chemical stability and wear resistance. For these qualities, they are widely used as reinforcing agents in plastics and composite materials for technological applications.
• In friction materials, titanates help to stabilize the coefficient of friction, reduce wear, give mechanical and thermal resistance. Furthermore, the potassium titanate acts in synergy with the fibrillated organic fibers favoring the stability and the resistance to the temperature of the tribo-film

Prochim Series:

Asbury Eco-Green for Friction 

Eco Green for Friction is an environmental solution designed by Asbury engineers that:

• is pH neutral and low in Vanadium and Nickel (Less than 10 ppm each)
• is low in copper (less than 10 ppm)
• is crystalline silica-free.
• has the same toughness as conventional calcined petroleum coke and will not melt or soften at any temperature.
• is an environmentally friendly alternative to high metals, high sulfur conventional calcined petroleum coke friction additives.
